100% Ostrich Leather from Struisvogel Ranch. We bring our ostrich skins to Acton, Ontario where they are tanned. We pick them up after they are tanned our 3 colours (black, dark brown and tan). We then ship our hides to Ukraine where a lady who works with ostrich leather makes our products and ships them back to us.
We are proud to create products using our own leather now. Ostrich leather is one of the best leathers in the world. It is 3 times stronger than a cow hide- yet it is soft like suede. It is unique in that the quill pattern is different on each hide. The more quill pattern on your product the more valuable it is.
